Hi-Ya there, I’m Jenn!
if you’ve made it here, I’m guessing you already know the basics — I’m Jenn, your traveling Indiana and Cincinnati wedding and elopement photographer, pediatric nurse, and loyal Friends fanatic. (“How you doin’?”) But here’s where we get a little deeper.
Photography isn’t just something I do. It’s how I see the world.
It’s how I slow down time — how I make sense of love, chaos, and the tiny, fleeting moments that make life feel full.
I think that’s part of why I fell in love with this craft. Nursing taught me how precious moments really are. I’ve spent years working as a traveling pediatric nurse, meeting families in some of their most emotional chapters — the highs, the fears, the in-betweens. It’s taught me how to connect deeply and gently, how to read unspoken emotion, and how to be fully present when it matters most. That’s the exact energy I bring behind the camera: steady, compassionate, and intentional.
When I’m photographing your wedding, I’m not just clicking a shutter. I’m watching for the way your mom wipes a quiet tear during your vows. The way your partner exhales before you see each other for the first time. The way the room feels when everyone’s laughing, barefoot on the dance floor. I want to give you those memories — the ones that feel alive.
My photography style reflects that same heart — warm, rich, earthy, moody, and deeply romantic. I love tones that feel nostalgic yet timeless — the kind of images that pull you right back into the feeling of the day. My goal isn’t to make your wedding look perfect. My goal is to make it feel real.
When I’m not editing, traveling, or behind the camera, you’ll usually find me creating something with my hands. I’m endlessly curious and always working on something crafty — whether it’s sketching ideas for my Etsy shop, making home décor, or designing something new just for fun. I live with my husband, Ben, and our two German Shepherds, Trigger & Luna, who thinks they are the main characters in every story (and, honestly, they’re not wrong).
Balancing two worlds — healthcare and art — has given me such a unique perspective on life. Nursing keeps me grounded. Photography keeps me inspired. Together, they’ve shaped me into someone who leads with empathy and creativity in everything I do.
When couples choose me as their photographer, it means the world. You’re trusting me with the moments you’ll look back on forever — and I don’t take that lightly. I pour my heart into every gallery, every session, every story I get to tell.
If you’re looking for a photographer who will help you feel comfortable being fully yourself, who values emotion over perfection, and who will chase the light (and probably tear up during your vows), I think we’ll get along just fine.
Here’s to love that’s real. Here’s to moments that matter.
Here’s to making something beautiful — together.
Ten Random Facts About Me:
I married my high school sweetheart, Ben, on July 23, 2018 — after ten years of dating. (He’ll tell you he knew I was the one long before I did.)
I’m a proud INFP, which basically means I feel everything deeply, lead with my heart, and see stories everywhere I go.
My book collection could rival Rory Gilmore’s, and I fully embrace my title as a book dragon — because let’s be honest, I’m not hoarding gold, I’m hoarding paperbacks.
We share our home with two German Shepherds — Luna and Trigger — who absolutely rule my world (and keep my husband humble).
My favorite color is black, though my personality leans somewhere between golden hour and chaos.
There’s a 99% chance you’ll find pink Starbursts in my pocket at any given moment. It’s my unofficial fuel for editing marathons and late-night creative bursts.
My plant collection is slightly out of control — if it has leaves, I’ve probably named it.
When I’m not photographing, you’ll usually find me painting, doing calligraphy, or knee-deep in some artsy project that I swore I wouldn’t start until I finished the last one.
I aspire to be when I grow up… it’s Joanna Gaines — equal parts creative, grounded, and wildly good with shiplap.
My love language is comfy blankets, a good Romantasy book, and emotional support coffee mugs.
