I’m Jenn — photographer, storyteller, and your soon-to-be favorite third wheel.
I’m an adventurous wedding and elopement photographer based in a tiny town in Southeastern Indiana. It’s quiet here — surrounded by fields and fireflies — but it’s also where I fell in love with stories, stillness, and the beauty of the in-between moments. Don’t let the small-town life fool you though — my camera and I are always ready to pack up and chase your story wherever it unfolds. Whether that’s barefoot on the Oregon coast, tucked away in the Smoky Mountains, or right in your family’s backyard, I’m there for it all.
Before photography, nursing taught me how to see people. I’ve spent years working as a traveling pediatric nurse, caring for tiny humans and the people who love them most. That work taught me how to find calm in chaos, how to connect deeply, and how to recognize beauty in the fleeting — all of which now pour into the way I photograph. I bring that same care and compassion into every session, because your moments deserve to be felt, not just seen.
When I’m not editing galleries or catching flights, you’ll probably find me quoting Friends (“How you doin’?”), exploring National parks with my husband Ben, or cuddling our two German Shepherds, Luna and Trigger. I’m equal parts introverted observer and chaotic hype-girl — a self-proclaimed socially awkward butterfly who will absolutely trip over her own feet while making you laugh.
My approach is simple: real moments over perfect poses. You won’t get a copy-and-paste Pinterest gallery with me — you’ll get something better. You’ll get the wild laughter, the nervous hand squeezes, the tears that catch you by surprise, and all the in-between bits that make your love story yours.
